New Appointment

Derryoober NS is pleased to announce the appointment of Caroline Whelan to the teaching staff of Derryoober NS.

Caroline begins her new job on the first day of the new school year 2017/18.

We wish her well in her new role.

Infant Induction Day

All junior Infants are invited to the school on Thursday 22^nd June from 1 – 2 pm. The children and parents/guardians will have an opportunity to meet their new teacher and to become familiar with their new surroundings. The Principal will be available to answer any questions.

Pre/After-School Services

Derryoober NS Childcare Services is opening for children on Wednesday 30^th August 2017 at 7.30 am. Cathy Garvey is leading this new service. We wish Cathy well in her new role.

Cathy will be available on Thursday 22^nd June to answer all questions. A schedule of charges and hours will also be available to all parents on the 22^nd June. Enrolment forms for Pre/After school services will be available to all parents on the 22^nd June.

If you would like to express interest in registering your child for Pre/After school services please text the school, stating name, DOB & services that you may avail of.

School Uniforms

Available in Duffy`s Portumna.

School Books

School Books, copies, colours, pencils etc  are all provided by the school under the Book Rental Scheme.

Enrolment Forms

Please insure that all enrolment forms are returned to the school by the 16^th June 2017.
